gold star for USAHOF
Booker T
We held back on ranking Booker T in our inaugural list as felt that despite being in his mid 40’s we thought the “spinaroonie” master had another run left in him in the WWE.  When he came back this year and returned to the WWE as a broadcaster, we felt it was time to list the five time WCW World Heavyweight Champion.

As one half of Harlem Heat with his brother, Stevie Ray, Booker T was part of one the top tag teams in WCW capturing the tag belts multiple times.  However, with all due respect to his tag team partner, Booker T was meant to be a singles superstar.  Upon venturing out in the singles ranks, Booker gradually climbed the ladder and impressed fans with his diverse repertoire and natural charisma.  When WCW folded, he was brought into the WWE as the WCW World Champion.  Booker T was not always used the best in the WWE, but he was a solid upper card performer capable of working with wrestlers of any size or any style.

With Booker T back in the WWE fold, it is very possible that his long list of championships on his resume will bring him to the Hall of Fame.  Now can you dig that!
