Well gang we have finally reached the point where we are taking the main list that we are known for and have been forced to revise it. With the selection of Alice Cooper, Neil Diamond, Dr. John, Tom Waits and Darlene Love, five new spots automatically opened. With votes tabulated, from us and from you; Rush has overtaken Kraftwerk and are this year's number one selection on our Rock and Roll List. Today the music world lost Don Kirshner who passed away of heart failure. Kirshner was a music producer who was known in the industry as "The Man with the Golden Ear" and was instrumental in discovering many Singers and Songwriters. Perhaps, to most of us, Kirshner was important for the producing of "Don Kirshner's Rock Concert" Television Series, which featured the top Rock and Roll acts of the day. With a Major League leading 601 career saves, Trevor Hoffman is calling it a career. Our #3 Selection for the WWE Hall of Fame, Shawn Michaels was announced this evening as the first inductee to the 2011 WWE Hall of Fame Class. This should not come as a surprise to anyone as he retired this past Wrestlemania and left in good standing with the WWE. We will not remove Michaels just yet from our rankings, as we will await the next group of inductees, but rest assured rankings will be altering soon. Congratulations Shawn!

As you have seen, The Notinhalloffame logo is made up of four images, representing Rock and Roll, Baseball, Hockey and the WWE. Initially, we selected Alice Cooper to be the musical representative. With his impending induction, we are removing Alice from the logo. In its place, we have selected the Canadian triumvirate of Rush who has a strong contingent of fans pushing for their induction. Who will be removed next due to their induction?
