gold star for USAHOF

Jean Beliveau

Jean Beliveau
One of the finest players of all time, the Montreal Canadians was fortunate to have Jean Beliveau for his entire professional career. Beliveau was a vital part of ten Stanley Cup wins, and just seemed to excel in all facets of the game. “Le Gros Bill” retired with two Hart Trophies, and as the leading scorer in NHL playoff history.
Beliveau was not just a spectacular player on the ice; he was class act off of it. He was great to his fans, helped out his teammates, and was a consummate professional in every capacity. He was the type of player that a “Hockey Dad” would want his son to look up too. Beliveau was inducted to the Hockey Hall of Fame shortly after he retired; as the Hall waived the three year wait for him.
