Top 50 Baltimore Ravens

You have to feel for the city of Cleveland when you discuss the Baltimore Ravens.

You know the story. Cleveland Browns owner, Art Modell, relocated the team to Baltimore in 1996 and as part of the settlement with the city of Cleveland the history and logo of the Browns remained in Northern Ohio. This renders for historical (and for our) purposes a franchise that has a history that begins in 1996 and anything done prior to that has nothing to do with our list.

The Baltimore Ravens accomplished what the original (and current) incarnation has failed to do. They are two time Super Bowl Champions (XXXV) and (XLVII) and fit in just fine in the AFC North, one of the most bruising divisions in the National Football League.

This list is up to the end of the 2022 regular season.

Note: Football lists are based on an amalgamation of tenure, traditional statistics, advanced statistics, playoff statistics and post-season accolades.
Possessing one of the bigger hearts in Professional Football, Nose Tackle, Kelly Gregg scratched and clawed his way on the Baltimore Ravens roster after stints on the practice squad and the World League. Gregg may never have made a Pro Bowl, but he was a highly regarded Nose Tackle who earned the respect of his teammates and opponents alike.
Playing his college ball at Missouri Southern, Brandon Williams and his wide base was named the Defensive Player of the Year of the MIAA.  Williams was a 3rd Round Pick in 2013 by the Ravens and by 2014 he would become the starting Nose Tackle.  Still with Baltimore as of this writing, Williams was chosen to his first Pro Bowl…
Playing the majority of his career with the Baltimore Ravens (including a stint with Cleveland prior to the relocation), Matt Stover would emerge as the all-time leading scorer for the Ravens and was a very reliable kicker in his day.  He would be named a First Team All-Pro and a Pro Bowler in 2001.  He would also lead the NFL…
If you are drafted in the First Round and you played for the University of Alabama for Nick Saban you are expected to be good.  As of this writing, Marlon Humphrey is blossoming into just that on the pro level.

Originally drafted by the Cleveland Browns, Rob Burnett played there for six seasons including a Pro Bowl campaign and when the franchise relocated to Baltimore, he gave them six more years of service. He recorded 26.5 Quarterback Sacks as a Raven and helped them win their first Super Bowl.
While Bart Scott would achieve greater fame as a member of the New York Jets, the linebacker would have more success in Baltimore. In 2006, he would make his lone Pro Bowl and earn Second Team All-Pro honors.  With the Ravens, Scott recorded 16.0 Sacks and 448 Tackles.  Not bad for an undrafted player out of Southern Illinois.
The fleet-footed player out of Nicholls State has proven to be a versatile player for the Baltimore Ravens as both a Cornerback and a Returner.  He did earn a Super Bowl Ring although he was unable to play in the big game due to a torn ACL.  He would play his entire nine-year career with the Ravens.
Jarret Johnson was considered by many to be an underrated player in the NFL, but those in Baltimore knew that they had a solid performer to compliment the team’s Linebacker corps. He would play 143 Games for the Ravens providing an even 20.0 Sacks and 402 Combined Tackles.
A member of that potent Ravens defense that won Super Bowl XXXV, Jamie Sharper was part of the Linebacking corps that terrorized offenses in the NFL. The older brother of Darren Sharper, Jamie would record over 300 Tackles as a Raven and would later lead the NFL in combined tackles in 2003 as a member of the Houston Texans.  Sharper…
Eric Weddle had already gone to three Pro Bowls as a San Diego Charger and he would match that in Baltimore, but this time he would do it in three years.  That was also the amount of time that he patrolled the Ravens’ secondary, the first year being at Strong Safety and the second and third season seeing him switch…
Sam Koch was one of the few punters to be drafted (he played his college ball at Nebraska) and the choice has proven well for Baltimore, the team he played the enitrety of his 16 NFL Seasons.  Koch would make the Pro Bowl in 2015 and to date has been in the top ten in Yards per Punt four times.…
Although Michael Oher is known more known for being the focus of a Sandra Bullock movie, he was a more than capable Offensive Tackle for the Baltimore Ravens and started all 80 games he played at Tackle for the team. Oher helped the Ravens win Super Bowl XLVII.
Tony Siragusa was more popular than he was good, but he was more than good enough to earn a spot here.  Playing for the Ravens for the last five years of his career, Siragusa was a member of that Super Bowl XXXV winning defense and it helped propel him into a successful post-NFL career.
Jermaine Lewis has the distinction of being one of the most (if not the most) versatile player on this list of the best ever Baltimore Ravens, and with two Pro Bowls and a First Team All-Pro Selection under his belt, he was certainly well decorated.  Lewis would record over 8,000 All-Purpose Yards as a Raven and would also lead the…
Mike Flynn was the starting Right Guard for the Super Bowl XXXV Champion Baltimore Ravens team, and we can only imagine how far away that seemed for the undrafted player out of Maine. Flynn made his way to the starting lineup and would take over as the starting Center.  In a career spent entirely in Baltimore, Flynn started 115 of…
A Raven for five years (as of this writing), Mark Andrews has shown excellent value as a former Third Round Pick. Andrews was low in the depth chart coming out of his rookie camp, but he when he got the ball, he proved that he was a future TE1, cracking 500 Yards as a rookie.  The former Oklahoma Sooner was a…
Drafted in the Fourth Round in 1999 from Arizona, Edwin Mulitalo had the honor of being the starting Left Guard on the team that won Super Bowl XXXV. He would start 102 of his 106 games as a Raven.
Drafted out of the football factory of Auburn in 2007, Ben Grubbs fit right into the Offensive Line of the Baltimore Ravens and would secure his first Pro Bowl selection (2011) while playing there.  He would start most of his games in Baltimore in the Left Guard position.
Ronnie Stanley was the first Offensive Lineman taken in the 2016 Draft, and though he may not be the most outstanding O-Lineman of his draft class, but he has proved solid over his career. Earning the starting Left Tackle job as a rookie, Stanley’s first three years were decent, but his fourth year was incredible, where he went to the…
