1. Ray Lewis
Regarded as the best player and without a doubt the most important player in the history of the Baltimore Ravens, Ray Lewis was a two time NFL Defensive Player of the Year and the Super Bowl XXXV MVP. Lewis was not only the leader of the stingy Ravens defense for over a decade, he was the leader of the team, period!

Earning 13 Pro Bowls, Ray Lewis altered Offensive schemes for years, as he was equally effective stopping the run as he was with the pass. Football players are often referred to as intimidating, but Lewis was a man who intimidated the intimidators. It is expected that Ray Lewis will enter Canton on the first ballot. If you were on the committee, wouldn’t you be afraid not to?
