Randy Moss was so great of an athlete that the Minnesota Vikings instituted at one time the “Randy Ratio”, which was designed to ensure that Moss had a certain amount of touches. Why was that? Because he was the best chance to win!
Moss may have been a controversial figure at times (OK, a lot of times) and may have been detrimental to the team dynamic on occasion. Moss would lead the NFL in Receiving Touchdowns five times, and was a constant figure in Receiving Yards at the year end tally. As statistically proficient as he was, was constantly criticized for his perceived lack of effort and inability to win a Super Bowl.
Still, as long as Terrell Owens is still on the ballot, his off-field issues don’t seem so bad, and he should be an early entry to Canton.
