Let's be blunt. Russell Westbrook' tenure with the Los Angeles Lakers can only be classified as a disaster. HIs shot left him, as did his confidence, and many predicted that the pairing with LeBron Would not work, but how many of us thought that he would fall off a cliff this bad? Saying that, does t erase what he accomplished before? Let's remember that Westbrook was the master of the Triple-Double, a former MVP, a two-time Scoring Champion, a nine-time All-NBA Selection, a three-time Assists Champion and more recently, selected to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team. That latter honor alone should be enough to place Westbrook into the Hall on the first ballot, regardless of what happens from here. Saying that the Lakers were a horrendous fit for Westbrook, and we can't see why with his declineing skills, he will do better as a Clipper. Could this destroy his narrative? Pre-2019-20 Rank: #6.
